STK Starr – bronze at Central European Superleague

After conquering the second consecutive title of Croatian champion in table tennis HEP SuperLiga, STK Starr was  third in the Central European Superleague..

The opposing team was a strong team of Austria U23, behind which the young table tennis team of Austria, whose quality matches are a great way to advance their future players. On the other hand, STK Starr has often introduced his young players in this renowned league to reach the international level of experience required for further career advancement.

The first match was won by the Austrians 6: 4 and the match on May 13, 2019 in Varazdin Arena came to Starra 6: 3 and they won 3rd place and bronze medal with a better set and match difference.

STK Starr performed with Frane Runjić, Leon Šantek and Nia Amiri Soorosh, while Ronald Ređep was in training position.

The bronze conquest was also the end of this rich season for Varaždin table tennis players, who are preparing something even better and interesting for the next season
